Sending Salawat on the Prophet ﷺ Daily
The hadith
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْليمًا (الأحزاب 56). وَقَالَ ﷺ: «مَن صَلَّى عَلَيَّ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا».
Allah says: 'Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and salute him with proper salutation.' (al-Aḥzāb 33:56). The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever sends salawat upon me once, Allah sends ten upon him.' (Muslim 408)
Svenska: Allah säger: 'Sannerligen, Allah och Hans änglar sender välsignelser över Profeten. O ni som tror, skicka välsignelser över honom.' (al-Aḥzāb 33:56). Profeten ﷺ sade: 'Den som skickar salawat över mig en gång, Allah skickar tio över honom.' (Muslim 408)

The story
Ubayy ibn Kaʿb asked the Prophet ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah, I send abundant salawat upon you; how much should I make for you?' He answered for fractions until Ubayy said: 'All of my duʿāʾ.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Then your concerns will be taken care of, and your sins will be forgiven.' (Tirmidhi 2457)
Why it's here
Ṣalawat on the Prophet ﷺ is the only worship Allah Himself shares: He, the angels, and the believers all do it together. Each salawat returns to the believer as ten from Allah. Each is sent to the Prophet ﷺ, presented to him directly. The Sunnah is the most generous trade in the believer's day.
Try it today
Set a daily target: minimum 100 salawat; ideally 300; the closest to the Prophet ﷺ on the Day did 1000+. Use the simple form: 'Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad.'
In your day
Pair salawat with daily activities. Driving, walking, in line, between meetings. The reward compounds; the love of the Prophet ﷺ grows.

Salawat on the Prophet ﷺ is the year's most generous Sunnah. Allah Himself shares it. Make 100 daily a minimum. The closest to him on the Day are those who sent most. May Allah make us of his closest.
